Megajolt and Rev Counter???
Hi having problems getting my new rev counter to show a reading with my megajolt. Tried the output on the molex connector but no joy, also tried the
edis pack (I think pin 12 and 2) as the magajolt website suggests that they both work however still no joy. Also tried EDIS outputs with megajolt
disconnected just for luck but apart from running real rough the rev counter does nothing. Pretty sure the dial is working as it jumps when you
connect or disconnect its permanent 12V live from the ignition circuit and the back light is working....just can't make it read properly!
Cheers Oli.

Hi Oli
You may need to use the diode circuit on the coilpack leads, there is circuit diagram on the Installation Cd .You will need two 1n4004 diodes and a
15v 1 watt zener diode, these are used to extract a flyback signal from the coil leads to drive the tacho.

I think I used 2 diodes and a resistor to ground at the junction of the diodes....... the only way it would work for me

Thanks guys I did see that on the megajolt site but didn't really understand it! Was hoping there would be another less in depth solution!
Cheers Oli.
