Valencia Distributor Under Twin 40's?

Hi,

Has anyone who has used the Electronic ignition from the Valencia engine fitted it under a twin 40 manifold, with or without a side exit cap?

Any pictures would be very useful...

Cheers!
Stu

what engine you talking about?
as far as I know, valencia is a Bosch distributor. if you have 1300 cc crossflow, I doubt very much it will fit; you would need a motorcraft dizzy that is shorter or use side entry cap, even with that it will be tight but should go.

Valencia distributor will fit under carbs on a 1600 engine as long as you use the side exit cap (Fiat Strada).

There are different manifolds available, so you'll need to find one of the shorter ones.

Also be aware that on Dellorto DHLA carbs the accelerator pump rod will foul the dizzie cap and so will need some modification.

I very much doubt that you'ld have much success with a 1300cc engine,
