speedo healer

I will be finalising my wiring this week and i need to know a bit about the 'speedo healer' so i know what wires to keep free for when i get one.

How does the speedo healer work when its attached to an R1 loom / motor?

What does it actually need attaching to?

Speedo Healer works by altering the number of pulses/second from the original sensor 'X' to a given ratio set by you (say 30% more) to produce a new number of pulses/second 'Y'. This then gives you the correct speed shown on your Speedometer assuming it's 30% slow.
