megajolt startup problems
hi,
just getting the megajolt up and running,
the run mode worked for a few minutes
then keeps displaying the message
"cannot read config data"
any ideas?
i was trying to get it to communicate with the computer in order to figure out which way round the tps leads go, and which way round the crank sensor
leads go

Hi Les,
Im no expert but it sounds like your PC and MJLJ box are not talking to each other. I had same problem.
I started by uninstalling all of my mobile phone software. I then installed brays terminal to test the connection and help set up the ports. Following
that installed V3 config software and it worked great.
All details found on the MJLJ website.
I also use a USN serial converter. This works with V3 software. The Java based stuff just wouldnt play ball at all.
If you still have problems post some details of what you have tried.
