HT Leads suppression
Hi,
I bought ignition cable from Vehicle Wiring Products, it does not have any markings on them. I made my own up due to moving the coilpack 1- 2 feet
from the engine.
I know it is the correct stuff with carbon internals.
Will have a problem at sva with no markings even if it performs correctly? Any way round this other than buy new cable?
Thanks
Darren

If I recall, it may be neccessary to prove that the leads are correctly supressed.
The only way I know of doing this is to use original manufacturers kit.
I used standard ford ones for the SVA and then changed them for high performance ones later - I don't know if they are suppressed or not as I
don't have a radio in the car

As i have moved the coil[pack, i cannot use the original leads.
I wonder if i used leads from the original ones, then joined them when it goes into the conduit, it will still have markings visible.
I take it the sva test will not require the conduit to be opened up?
Thanks
