No dip beam
Almost there, was just connecting up the final few wires (headlights).
Thought i'd give the usual test run, side lights worked fine but no dipped beam.
Main beam works fine on the flasher stalk, checked the headlight units for wiring all seems ok.
I'll have a go at relays and switch gear in the morning,if anybody has any suggestions fire away please

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

In the end it was the earth lead that connects both sides of the sierra column switches,i had it connected up to the wiper lug on top of the switches
doh!!!! how the hell was i to know .
Anyhow it all works fine now and i even have a working rear fog with main beam on,this was evidently a problem in the old thread on this matter.(dont
ask me how though)
Thanks again pete for your help,i'll have a beer ready for you at donington
