Peugeot Imobilisers

I had a similar problem with my 406, one of the coductors inside the braiding next to the hinged lid had fractured from fatigue.
Peel back the braiding, find the damaged conductor by feel and solder in a repair piece.

If it is a diesel then there will be no ECU, a continuity check on the wires might be a good move.
