MBE wiring help?
Hi guys just got an mbe 912 off ebay and need some help if possible re. the wiring. It doesnt have any labels so any help with the colours would be
lovely.
Also has 3 multiplugs on-i take it 1 for coilpack, 1 for TPS, and other for crank sensor-but what goes where?? 2 of them are 3 pin blocks, the other
has a 4 pin block but only 3 pins in it.
Any help appreciated.
Also this one but its clearly labelled.

Not bad but need to know the pin layout to be able to understand that.

Right after a little playing i've come to this conclusion with reference to the pin outs posted below.
1 ELECTRONICS GROUND 2 ECU SUPPLY +12V
3 IGNITION DRIVE 1
4 POWER GROUND 2 (BRAID)
5 THROTTLE REFERENCE (5V OUT)
6 SPEED SIGNAL
7 AIR TEMPERATURE SIGNAL
8 COOLANT TEMPERATURE SIGNAL
9 POWER GROUND 1 (BRAID)
10 IGNITION DRIVE 2
11 INJECTOR DRIVE
12 SPEED RETURN
13 TACHO SIGNAL
14 FUEL PUMP RELAY OR GEARSHIFT LIGHT
15 THROTTLE SIGNAL
So going by that-i have as follows-
1 plug of 3 wires with 4, 6 & 12 (power ground, speed signal & speed return) = Crank sensor??
1 plug of 3 wires with 1, 5 & 15 (electronics ground, throttle ref. 5v out & throttle signal) = throttle potentiometer??
1 (4 pin plug-only 3 wired) plug of 2 wires with 3, 10 ( ignition drive 1 & ignition drive 2) plus a yellow wire that loops through to-number 2
(ecu supply 12v) = must leave coilpack??
a group of 4 bare wires-14 (fuel pump or shift light), 13 (tacho signal), 2 (ecu supply 12v), and the yellow one from above, which is joined onto
number 2 (ecu supply 12v) = seems simple enough.
Does that sound about right-the coilpack connector has 4 pins but only the 3 are wired.
