Indicator switches...
Ok, here's the thing - I am building with a rather nice fabricated column and paddle shift supplied by Aries so I don't have the usual
stalks and gubbins. For those in a similar situation, but further on in the build/finished, what are you using for indicator switches and how
practical/usable are they?

I used just a rocker switch from VWP and found it ok to use. Obviously it does not cancel so you need have it in the line of sight or a beeper on it
(loud!).

just a simple on off on toggle switch fitted in the steering wheel exempt zone on the dash

Same as BigRich. Quite easy to use. After a while you remember to cancel no probs so not as bad as you might think.

Thanks for the replies. If I go for a toggle switch with the steering wheel SVA exempt bit, I would quite like some toggle switches for a few other
things. Is it possible to get SVA friendly toggle switches or does the screw on mounting ring make this impossible?

I think the problem with toggle switches is the the fear they will embed themselves in your skull.
It is possible to use radiused D shaped guards around them.
If you look carefully on the dash of the Spyker (link) you can see what I mean.
BMW Mini also uses toggle switches with the same kind of guards.
