koso dash wiring xr-sr n
Following on from a few posts where people like me have lost their instructions, i downloaded from koso usa the wiring diagram.
Having just wired it in one wire is labled incorrectly , the Purple/Water Temp is shown as a positive input, it's not it's a negative !

I actually have the wiring diagram at work with me as I had to phone the supplier with a query with the wiring.
The instructions list a deep purple which is for the hazard 12v+ and a Purple for the water temp - . My wiring loom only has 1 purple its quite
dark but without another purple to compare it to its difficult to say.
I also had another very light brown/beige wire which isnt listed in the instructions. The guy i bought it through said he put 12v+ to this and the
hazard warning came on so if you have the same problem it appears the only purple in the loom is for the water temp and the light brown is the hazard.
My next question which he couldnt answer is that i have the seperate water temp sender which has its own little seperate loom. So what does the water
temp - wire do?
I am just in the process of wiring mine in so any hints would be usefull.
Do you have the missing purple that i have?
