You might not be able to charge it at all, i killed mine by letting it go flat, nothing would bring it back it was less than 6 months old,
apparently they don't take kindly to a full discharge, i now use an optimate trickle charger all the time.

I have one too. I was told to charge it slowly, as the gel batteries don't like car chargers on full blast.

Ive got a very simular powervamp battery and i didnt know what charger that needed.
- I did look on there website, and havea poke about. But in the end i just stuck my £40 hellfrauds charger on it because it was flat and needed
something.
I dont know how sensotive they can be because they obvisouly dont mine being charged be a normal 40/50amp alternator.
I considered puting it on 'sealed' battery setting but the powervamp site goes on about it being able handle high current/coltage
everything i didnt bother.

Odysseys are not gel batteries, they use normal acid, but it's held within a glass mat. If they are happy to take the very high currents from
an alternator, a small battery charger shouldn't cause them any harm.
From the Odyssey web site: "Small, portable automotive chargers may be used to charge your ODYSSEY® battery".
The point is that you shouldn't leave the battery connected to these chargers unless they have automatic cut off, as they don't take
kindly to overcharging.
