ST170 VVT map

Has anybody got a 3d map for the VVT target advance?

I have never fiddles with the VVT map on mine, but I think it is not clever. According to the ME221 people, it should have loads of advance, 50 degress, at low revs, where as mine has low advance, maxing between 3500-4500.

They say:

(RPM -> CAM ADVANCE (degress))

0-1000 -> 0*
1000-2000 -> 50*
2000-3000 -> 40*
3000-4000 -> 50*
4000-5000 -> 30*
5000-5500 -> 20*
6000+ _> 10*

I could just use those figures, but that would be a 2D map. And I expect load will have an effect?

Whats the wisdom on this?

I just ran mine 2D with similar figures you posted there, lots of advance to start then backs off gradually as revs increase. Ran brilliantly and never felt the need to alter settings or go 3D tbh.
