Land rover question?

Hi, know we have some Landy lovers on here. Can anybody tell me if the front prop shaft on a 300 TDI Disco has a telescopic joint. I want to make up a very short prop shaft, About 12" long and it needs to have a telescopic section to allow for some fore and aft movement. Thanks Ray

Hi Ray

Yes it does - front and rear both have one.

Must have one to allow for vertical movement of axle.

So have 90's, 110's P38 range rovers and classics.

You need to check carefully as a number of the sliders have a plastic type coating on the splines, when the metal eventually rusts the slider binds up.

You can use front or rear.
