Am starting to lose patience with my build now as I usually get about 4 or 5 hours work done on it per week which is not nearly enough! I am
considering paying someone to complete the build and I would say it's about 90% complete.
Remaining jobs include
Properly bleeding the brakes
Sorting out clutch as it seems to be stuck/ seized due to been standing for over 2 years
Steering wheel to mount properly to bracket
Engine mounting nuts and spacers to fit
Mechanical oil pressure gauge to fit, including pipe work
Dash 2 to programme and calibrate. Think I need to move the speed sensor from the prop bolts as the maximum pulses per mile you can enter on the dash
2 is 12000 so with 6 bolts for every prop rotation and a 4.1:1 diff I'm way over.
Ride heights and suspension to set up as well as steering to get geometry somewhere near
If anyone is interested in completing the car and is competent to do so then feel free to get in touch. I can trailer the car with my trailer and all
parts required to complete will be there. If anyone requires pictures I may be able to get some up to date ones so you can sort out a rough idea of
cost . The car is an mnr vortex with Honda s2000 engine and box. Ecu and wiring is all done and it starts and runs fine.transmission, prop diff and
drive shafts all in.Cooling system is all done, as is all bodywork. Suspension is all done apart from geo setup.

Could you not sort out a few days off work and just blitz it, sounds like you've done the hard work already? Plus you would lose the sense of satisfaction of completing it yourself.
What about asking Mark and Chris @ MNR? I'm sure they've done this for other peeps.
Cheers
Rich
I'd be happy to finish it for you but I'm a bit of a long way away! I do have car trailers etc. if you did want me to do it of course and
don't mind picking it up at cost. The Exeter IVA center is quite reasonable too.
Cheers Si.
They have but money's tight and I was hoping someone may do it a bit cheaper. Locostbuilder style!
I don't get paid for being off work so I would lose even more money
I have my own trailer. And have already paid fore the iva, which I requested to be at beverly. I suppose I could change it.I just need to submit my
amateur build declaration and a date. Thanks for the offer.
If no one more local is interested I will be in touch. Cheers
That's cool, hopefully someone local will be able to help out and it doesn't sound like you need that much doing. It just sucks time
finishing things off though doesn't it?! Feel free to PM me anytime.
Not sure they have enough time, nor they'll be cheap enough but NSDev on here does good stuff with his retropower business.
I could get in touch with them but would imagine it would cost an arm and a leg on an hourly rate basis! Cheers
Just keep plodding on mate. I could drive my car up the road for months before it was legal anyway its september so youve now got 6 months of crap
weather ahead o 6 months of build time
