Last week I decided that the brakes on my car needed new brake fluid - I hadn't replaced it for quite a while, and the pedal felt a bit soft.
So I got out my Gunson Eezibleed - which hadn't been used for ages - and gave it a good looking over. Unfortunately the washer in the pressure
reservoir had got all gnarled-up and distorted, either due to brake fluid making it swell, or my ham-fistedness (probably a bit of both).
I looked up Eezibleed in Google, found the website for Gunsons, and clicked on the support tab. Sent an email on Friday afternoon to ask how much a
new washer would cost (expecting some stupid price for a 10p washer) and got a reply back - "send your address and we'll pop one in the post
on Monday"... and it arrived this morning (Wednesday).
So - a big thumbs-up for Gunson (a.k.a. Tool Connection) for good service!
Excellent, I need one of those to! mine leaks alot of air out of the cap!
I sent my email to ServiceDept@toolconnection.co.uk
I had the same thing but my cap cracked open too. Quick e mail and one sent for free too! Needless to say I now have the Gunsons Colortune and other items of theirs. That's how customer service should work.
See now a lot of companies don't appreciate that chucking the customer what is effectively 50p-£3 on a little thing like that can generate a chunk of business
