Personaly i am not a fan of the A1,
I think it looks like a proton from the back.
That is even worse.

This is of course just my opinion, you understand.

Andy.

YUK!

Can't help thinking the colour scheme was inspired by Abarth.

more Pikes Peak than Arbath.

gottabedone - 29/10/11 at 02:32 PM

The inside just looks like it has come coloured plastic bits stuck on some other plastic bits

.................where's the motorsport inspired Ali and CF.

drove an sline A1, handles well though the twisty bits. seats are for super models not fat blokes like me so very uncomfortable.

I think you're being too kind. I think it looks like its been got-at by a 5 year old and can't believe my eyes.

Thats the worst pile of sh*t Audi have ever come up with and what on earth this that colour scheme about?!?

Just when i was starting to come round.... (because they do make some nice cars) they lanch that! o dear!

DixieTheKid - 29/10/11 at 06:45 PM

It reminds me of Herbie for some reason? Must be the MASSIVE 1 in that font?

The biggest problem is its an Audi so while it might be put together well it'll be incredibly dull and have no 'personality' at all. They might push the boat out with a bit of brushed aluminium inside maybe.

I do like the nod to retro motorsport colour scheme though.

I am biased
- I loved Audis for years, had 2 Audi 80s, 1 Audi 100 saloon, an Audi 100 estate, then an A4 2.5 Tdi Quattro.
Then I bought a 2002 multitronic A6 estate which cost me a fortune in gearbox repairs (£2500).

I will be getting another one day (but not a multitronic OR a DSG).

However - the A1 is just awful. Like something Daewoo or Kia dreamed up on a bad day.

I wanna S5. mmmm
