That is slick. Love how you did the taillights. Do you leave the jack extended and locked when you load the car? The tilting trailers that I have seen here in the States usually do not have the jack on them. They are balanced so you drive up on them and then gravity takes care of the rest (usually with a loud bang when it drops). Russ

I think it is a gas ram, so the trailer will 'settle' rather than 'thump' down as you drive on.

Looks more like it is an oil-filled jack-ram, same as you have on an engine hoist, so the trailer can be tilted while under full control

Gotta love the reg plate too

With a bit of thought, you could link the ramps to the tipping mechanism so they came down as the trailer tipped. But there again, I have been known to over complicate things for no logical reason.....
