I know this is a long shot, but I did post on an E Type foum and not one of the miserable sods could be bothered to measure it for me, considering the help I've offered on there its a poor show.

Anyway rant over.

I've had an expansion tank made for my Series 1.5 in the style of the series 1 header tank, what I need to know is how tall the series 1 tank mounting bracket is, so if anyone else on here has or knows someone with an S1 E Type and wouldn't mind measuring the height for me.......

I did say it was a long shot, but worth an ask, on what continually proves to be the best car related site on the net.
