Paint Advice

I'm intending to repaint two sets of alloys. I'll be spraying with a gravity fed gun.
The question is, what paint is best for this...painting isn't my area of expertise and the selection seems wide...acrylic, synthetic, cellulose ...two pack, single pack...and the same for the lacquer

any experience?

i'd say 2 pack for the paint and laquer, but watch the health issues.
for ease, i'd go with cellulose. its bad for you, but not as bad as 2 pack.
ALWAYS USE A MASK, especially when mixing your paint! personally, i think thats where a lot of painters, who say they ALWAYS wear a mask, get the health issues from. yes they use a mask when spraying, but not when mixing the paint, and standing right over a cup full of it, breathing in the fumes

I notice that isocyanate paints are singled out as especially dangerous...which ones are these?

2 pack has the isocyanates, not sure which of the others. cellulose doesn't, but as i said, its still pretty nasty stuff if you breathe the fumes

Try your local powder coater! That way you dont need to worry about the health issues
