From the totalkitcar site

Can't find any details but if John Barlow is involved the body fit /quality will be excellent.

Yup - like a lot and I'm not usually a trike fan

AndyW - 3/12/11 at 04:58 PM

My critical eye noticed the rear wheel is not the same colour as the front, not my cup of tea.

big-vee-twin - 3/12/11 at 05:01 PM

Look better with four wheels

These are different in one important respect - one's a backward trike.

They both have about the same appeal to me though

Not a fan.

Looks like 206 headlights suggest 206 donor and fwd. But rear intakes suggest mid engined?

totalkitcar say superbike engine so 99% likely to be rear driven mid.

It's a rip off of this:

It worked with Vespas

I think it's pretty good for a trike, the question is how do they really handle in fast corners, somrthing I would worry about personally.

Yes, but only if the two wheels are at the front and you have a long enough wheelbase.

clairetoo - 4/12/11 at 02:29 PM

I really like that - and I think that with a more sensible engine (maybe 600 rather than `superbike' it would make a fantastic commuter car .
But an enclosed car with a bike engine is gonna need a reverse.........

inkafone - 5/12/11 at 01:14 AM

Interesting that the (few) people that like this don't have a 7 clone which IMHO have few redeeming features for road use (no offence meant).
It may be a rip-off of the Peugeot LiiOn (electric concept) but I think it well sell well and be good for the kitcar industry. The canopy system should work well (no opening windows) with hopefully some kind of ventilation system. An electric reverse could be used on the front wheels although some bike gearboxes do have reverse. The engine choice should enable a combination of economy/acceleration (a triumph triple??) - weight should be about 450kg so even with a 600 it will be brisk. Here's some more pics of the Peugeot -

love the peugot concept, a single seat kit along similar lines would certainly have me interested in building one.
