hi guys just a quick question what would be the cheapest way to send a mk indy bonnet and nose cone??? had some for sale on ebay which didnt sell as i had them on collection only but have since had questions regarding postage never sent anything that bulky/fragile before wondered what sort of cost would be ?

I don't know, but I got my grp rear external panel from the UK, it was in two parts. I haven't needed the part yet, but the plan was to bond them together with fibreglass mat and resin. So if the buyer can do that, you can cut the bonnet in half.

Wrap in bubble wrap and cardboard. Thats how Saturn do it.

cheapest ?? courier wise i assume.

Theres loads to choose from, dont always go for the cheapest because they have damage clauses which are near impossible to meet + ham fisted drivers = major damage and no one will pay

i got a roof for my car, a sort of L shaped part, it was supported with wood fixed across it to brace it, then wrapped in bubble wrap and sent via courier. nothing more than that
the build a sort of wooden frame with 2x1" wood (nothing heavy) to support it, and if you can screw it down, to stop the sides bending in or out, wrap it up, job done
just make sure the buyer knows the risks in the distance its going and doesn't try screwing you over when it arrives
