This turned up at our workshop for a new exhaust.
Who knows what it is?
More clues to follow... if some smart-arse dosen't get it first!
Hmmmm, must be something yankee-doodle with a front axle like that? Probably less than 5 years old, too, as they have chosen modern hi tech coil
springs over the usual leaf springs.

looks like an old lorry? i'll guess at an AEC or Bedford lol
Routemaster?

Ah yes P4

Andy gets it by a nose.
It was booked in as a Rover 100 (which it is) but we thought they meant the last of the Metros.
Took me back to my youth and diving over the bench seat aged 5 to sit up front with my Mum. Suicide rear doors, no seat belt,. semi-rod brakes and
half side valve, half overhead valve strieght six.
Wasn't in bad nick. Biggest problem putting the exhaust on was finding Whitworth spanners (or at least remembering where I put them) to undo the
old one. 1/4 whit isn't the same as anything else.
It was the Metro clue.. I just googled Rover 100.
.. I can smell the leather.
ah rolly polly handling,no brakes and the smell of real leather
