Hi all,

The wifes megane was making a grinding noise from the steering wheel when turning, now its stopped and the air bag light is on. MOT due in a few months. I believe its some sort of connector between the airbag and the column part buy not sure what its called. Once I know is e-bay any good for these type of things as Im sure the main stealer will just be stupid money.

Looking forward to a locost solution.....

Thanks

Andy

Doesn't that just pi55 you off?

The profit margin on that must be MASSIVE, there's no way on earth the parts cost a 1/8 of that to make and if it's faied it probably wasn't designed and tested properly in the first place

I got round the airbag problem by changing my car for a new one

Vauxhall seem more prone to problems with the clock spring than other makes, the part is probably made by Delco in the US.
