Drift experience, opinions?

My dad has decided he wants to go on a drift day for his birthday present.... Has anyone been on one here? I hear caterhams one is good but costs a fair bit more than some of the others on offer, I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for, but if anyone has any experience of different ones it would be appreciated.

Oulton park has a great low friction so you don't wear your tyres out drift circuit, you can take your own car on, not sure if they hire cars out, but it looks fun

Done that. Great fun but very technical as it's quite narrow; That does mean you have to be accurate so you probably learn more than in a huge open area. I had real problems (due to low body roll) getting the back out untill the instructor got me backing into the corners under braking. He scared the bejessus out of me when he drove but was pretty complimentary about the car. Track's virtually undrivable when the water bowser has just been around. With so little grip the speeds are pretty low so offs are not a problem. Improved my wet confidence no end.

Unfortunately my car is not yet finished... If it was that would be a great option especially as I still have the build wheels with tread on them to burn lol
