Racing Cars and Gaffa Tape never too far apart !

To much carbon fibre for me ( unless it is the 'Proper Stuff' )

Very

I always had a hankering to put a club-mans style car on the road.

The carbon one isn't their first, there's painted ones as well.

Look really good with the shell off too.

Could be an illusion, but the wheelbase looks tiny, like it would swap ends in a straight line, cool looking thing though.

I thought it looked like a gokart on steroids, and the black one is yuk

carbon fibre or look a like stuff is not my bag,
on a mclaren or super car stuff possibly ok, but still not for me

The cars are featured in SimRaceway game and there is an article in the current Evo mag.

Alfa145 - 30/4/12 at 11:27 AM

Well, they're obviously expecting things to fall off of it, there's a guy stood behind with the gaffer tape ready

tilly819 - 30/4/12 at 12:32 PM

I have been folowing there site for some time now, very intresting cars, the "guy at the back with the gaffa tape" is Dennis Palatov (DP)

They have a build blog of there cars inc some electric ones, Busa V8, Bike engine etc

and the bodys are full carbon fibre, yes the real stuff, plugs all made on a 5 axis mill etc

The dp1 has a wheelbase of 80" (i.e. the same as a classic mini).
The dp4 (which I think is the one in the picture) has a wheelbase of 68.5" (!) Like a kart it will be really good at corners, but probably a bit twitchy on the straight for a lot of people.
