Spent a cracking few hours in the wilds of Dumfries and Galloway last weekend watching the BCCC, (thats the British Cross Country Championship) round 3. Now thats not a bunch of hairy arsed, lycra clad wierdos running up and down hill and dale. Its actually a cross between rallying and 4x4 competitions. Have a look here, http://www.marches4x4.com/bccc.html Ive been going for a few years now and cannot understand why there are not more spectators! Spectacular vehicles, speeds at least that of top notch rallying then some realy rough off road stuff added for extra exitement and you can wander the pits to your hearts content and have a good crack with the competitors. Look at the site, select a venue and give it a go.
now that does look interesting, a bit like comp-safari,.. Awesome to watch.
Thanks for the heads up.
I was hoping it was the British Crap Car Championship, like the touring cars but with Hyundai Atoz and the Dacia Sandera
