Ok as per the title, todays task is to find the cheapest vehicle, with the most warranty on it, and preferably 0% finance available for my Son in law.
It'll be their second car so doesn't need bells and whistles of any sort.
He is not in any way car minded at all ( so a cheap runaround needing tlc and constant up-keep is out )and he has a 1.3 cdti corsa to trade in which is sound enough but quite battle scarred on the exterior.

You cant go wrong with Kia nowadays. Great cars. If I was in your shoe's I would seriously consider one of those. (although as I have just ordered a Sportage I might be a bit biased)

What's the timescales? They'll be announcing pricing for the Dacia Sandero in the UK soon - that'll be keenly priced and presumably well warrantied. Does he have James May-esque hair?

Timescale is next couple of weeks to avoid a premium on changing the insurance policies.

With your specs I'd say your already looking in the right place. Go for a Kia or a Hyundia as they have long warrantees and are reasonably priced to begin with, I'm sure I read that one or both of them included a few years worth of servicing in the original price. Quick look on autotrader and you can get an i10 for £3.5K on a 59 plate, so a couple of years warrantee.

It might not be the case where you are but car sales have been slow in Kent, I've been going round garages over the last couple of months and noone seems to shift any stock so go out and haggle and get yourself a bargain.
