what a talent, seen a v8 ,wonder if he does it in kit form

Very impressive to produce something like that, wish I had a fifth of his skill.

One thing that confuses me about that engine though: shouldn't the camshafts be turning at half the rpm of the crank? The gears turn at the same rate.

That is impressive!!! I think he should now make a mini seven to put that engine in... That would be a thing of beauty

Yeah I noticed that. I don't think it's a 4 stroke combustion engine though, it appears to be just air driven. Which means no compression or ignition stages, just intake and exhaust.

Not that I'm belittling (no pun intended!) the guys work though, that is simply epic.

id seen that before but well worth watching again. very very impressive. thanks for the post.

gotta be better power gains than those rattly old pinto engines !?!?

sorry couldnt resist

I know someone who makes engines that size and smaller.
Apparently they won't run as you can't scale down droplets of petrol.

Confused but excited. - 9/7/12 at 07:56 PM

Ah, that's why model aeroplane engines don't work.

Theres a ferarri replica of about that size which runs

I spotted the gearing for the cams and thought something was amiss!
