not sure if it means he is on the hill...
or crashed after first sector
I notice Mark Rennison is there - I used to watch him rally crossing at Croft back in the 80's - he was good too!
will be interesting to see how the palatov car does, they entered their d4 car.

Woo! A name from the past. He was quick at Croft. I used to be there with Will Gollop. Who didn't hang around either. And as for Pat I sold him his first 6R4 international motor. A great bunch of blokes...
Pikes peak on the radio

Looks like Pat (and Mark) did the first section and then didn't complete the 2nd.

and then sort on unlimited. Dave Donner in the Palatov was fastest Unlimited car (10min 4 secs)

It was a good time - Tony Proctor was my favourite at the time in that white Capri although Mark Rennison was very popular too. he started in a mk1 escort if I recall, then went on to win lots in a RWD converted Mk3 escort then the RS200 when he was champion.
I listened on the radio link last night for a while. I think the weather was bad with much rain and snow at the top. as I went to bed they were
setting a shorter course so people could get runs but I think it was mostly a washout by the sound of it.
Andy:
It wouldn't surprise me if I was in some of those old photos standing on the banking - good times!
