sealant for petrol
cliftyhanger - 25/8/12 at 05:21 PM

Anybody know if there is a sikaflex type adhesive/sealant that is suitable for petrol (including the ethanol stuff that we get now and will in the future)

Goodle shows tank N but can't find anywhere that sells it in singles. Not even sure that is OK on a petrol tank application.

So, any bright ideas?

Ive used a flebile PU type sealant called p55 (i think) in the past, I can't tell you what i used it for but trust me it works.

It is also impervious to diesel and will even set in the presence of hydrocarbon fluids.
