I know a few on here are interested in American cars.
Heres the result of my lockdown activities, 5 Speed, Discs, Servo, Wheels and more.....
Very nice, just needs the steering wheel moving over.
I would describe the colour as 'old english white', what do they describe the color as?
ps very nice!
I've seen one converted to rhd using mk1 Granada parts, but quite enjoy the lhd challenge.
The colour is Wimbledon White, I've an aerial hole to weld up, so matching it will be interesting.
I am surprised to see this is "stick shift". I thought all old american cars were auto column shifters?
This shows how little I now about american cars. Generally I think they sound nice, sound like the go fast in a straight but dont and definitely dont
go round corners!!!
Its from the first year of production, a genuine factory manual transmission, unfortunately the original 4 speed was horrible.
The 5 speed is a Tremec T5, basically the same box as the YB Cosworth Sierra, infinitely better.
You're right its not one for the twisties, but no worse than a Capri.
