Oo I built one of these for the GFS with my last company.
Scary how fast they go, haven't got one for sale though!
If you need any tips shout.

I have one I've used at Belchford, but since this was the last year for that event, I may be getting rid soon. We ran as team 'in last
place' team 40 - there's a photo at http://www.mgcars.org.uk/mgcclincolnshirecentre/Pages/2011%20Gravity%20Racing.htm - you can see the 40
on the front. To me half the fun is in coming up with a design and building it. Our design looks pretty crude, but we still finished 21st of 45
starters, despite a 10 second slower run when Dave span it in the chicaine and buckled the front wheel. We ran the next 2 runs with brakes on just 3
wheels as the disk from the buckled one didnt fit the spare wheel we borrowed. I had the first of those runs, and we literally got the wheel on and
straight to the start line and off - first application of the brakes was pretty exciting! No need to steer into the chicaine as the whole thing jinked
4ft sideways and took me through anyway. We were in our second 'shakedown' year, then we were going to go for the novelty entries which
isn't quite so fast anyway, hence the odd looking frame to give something to attach a body to!
Regards
Hugh

This was our bad boy, shame its probably sat gathering dust in some hanger in farnborough, had a uniques suspension system that had no springs and
damper which evenly loaded each wheel and allowed them to track uneven ground nicely, no pitch or roll either!

I've thought about this a bit. Got a design in my head that has tennis balls as suspension which i think could work quite nicely.
Got a variation design that uses bike wheels and canters the wheel over for the corner so the forces are going in the right direction and there is
reduced risk of the wheel buckling.

we made our own wheel hubs that were wider giving the wheel more strength against lateral loads

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thanks Matty
People do occasionally sell them. The best places to look are on the Scottish Cartie Association web
site and the UKGSA Forum.
I think this one is still available.
