Joint tape
I have a leak on the seam of the roof on my van. Is there a tape that I can apply that will permanantly seal it and is also that can be painted over.

Have you considered Seam Sealant - a have a tin of stuff in the garage. Goes on like a very thick paint, remains flexible and can be over-painted.
