Annual Mileage Poll

Further to the thread elsewhere. Thought it might prove useful to collate this information by way of a poll. That way, it will become evident what mileage the majority are doing. I suspect that the manufacturers would find this kind of information very useful as well.

So how many miles did your Locost or other car kit car do in the last 12 months.

there is a typo in your poll options,...

You have 100 where I expect you mean 1000,...

Not sure if you can edit the poll, but it might be worth splitting 0-500 into 100 mile intervals.....

I was saying to swmbo yesterday i've had mine out twice since the start of July. I can't have done more than 100 miles.

I lost all the good weather in april/may to uni while doing my masters. Hopefully it'll get out more often next year.....though i've been saying that since 2006.

Sorry folks. I'm afraid I can't edit it.
I did try.

Sorry about the typo and other point taken.

Fairly wide spread so far.
Surprising.

I'm "on the bubble" at 5000 miles but I've voted 3000-5000 as thats what the insurance allows.

How many of the 0-500 cars aren't on the road yet? If your on the road and only doing that milage then you really are missing out; Might as well take up knitting.

Averaging 2200 a year here which is surprising considering the amount of 'upgrading' that goes on here....

i've put down 0-500

i drive alot of miles during the week and the wife keeps me busy at weekends. she wont get in the car so it cannot be used to visit friends etc therefore the milage is low.

I promise to do better next year

Difficult to quantify my annual milage however...
I'm averaging 1 engine per year

Eau Buggah!!!!!

Posted my tin-top mileage, in error. So take the 7500 - 10000 figures with a liberal dose of scepticism.

Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

I managed just under 2,000 miles before I had to tuck the car up for an early Winter. I was intending to make full use of the 5,000 limit on the insurance, but circumstances changed. I suppose I still have six months to use them, but we'll see.

Overall, I think this year I'll have done near 30,000 miles. Last year I did around 65,000 miles, 50,000 of which were because of my job. I was heading for 80,000+ from my job alone until I was made redundant.
