Another im going to be a DAD post :-)
Well, after a long wait we are going to have a baby in April next year.
For anyone that knows me this has been a while in the planning, 6 years ago whilst going through possibly the worst experience of my life (namely a
very sh1tty divorce) i could never have imagined i would meet my soul mate & have another tiddler.
My outlook on life was changed for good, i have really learnt what matters & managed to meet an amazing woman with the same outlook, material
things are just that, 'Things' - its the people around you that matter.
Anyone who is going through seperation or divorce, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it may be a dim light but its there.
Im well chuffed at the mo - i will get the scan pic uploaded & then it will be obvious why we are calling the bump 'Peanut'
Cheers Andy

Emily did say what if its a girl ?? (we have two boys)
I dont see that as being a problem, she will still be taught how to fix cars so i dont have to when she's old enough to have one

Congratulations.
I'm sat here with the dog to my left, the footy on the tv and a 4 month old to my right who's just had to have a full body wash and new
set of clothes due to an 'accident'. Life is pretty good.
Hope you're both ready for the sleepless nights

We are 17 weeks gone, i think im prepared for the sleepless nights, its been a while, i have an 11 year old son & a 7 year old step son so a bit
out of touch as far as fresh babies but i did pretty much everything for my son when he was small so having a wife now thats very hands on should make
life easier for both of us this time around
We will do it in shifts & see how we go, plan is for the wife to give up work for atleast a year so if all goes to plan we should be ok, money
will be tight but seems ridiculous for Emily to go to work when we will pay most of that back out on childcare.
Had a scan at 9 weeks because they thought there were problems but luckily it was all ok, had the 12 weeks scan which actually showed what looked like
a proper baby 3 weeks until our 20 week scan, cant wait.

Depends when stoneleigh is
Will try to get there, missed it this year as we were trying to cut back & pay off our debts etc to make the baby plans a bit easier.
Good news is when its born, wife should be a stay at home mum so more time to start building the car pennys will be a bit tight but i have plenty
to be getting on with.
I have been rebuilding a 20 year old Vespa this summer so that when tiddler is born, wife can have car & i can commute the 7 miles to work on the
Vespa, money saved on running a 2nd car can go into the kitcar fund
This really has been planned for a while !

As for the pennies side of things I know exactly where you are coming from on that side.
