An attempt at a London street circuit.

I was bored and I've been thinking about this for a while so I had a go at drawing my vision of a Buckingham palace GP circuit. Click Here to view.

The Blue line is the track the red is the pit lane. It's abit over 4km and I've routed it across the wrong bridge but moving the line kept causing me problems, it's probably equally as unfeasible but it should cross on the foot bridge rather than the railway and in places the line falls off the road because I did as much as possible with the straight line tool (when you spot the free hand sections you'll see why) so in your mind you'll have to smooth it out a bit.

Its clockwise with the start finish somewhere near the palace.

What do you guys think and anyone else got any other ideas about locations for street races in London?

You could route it through Peckham for the wheel changes,
of course you will never get them back.

I will admit it's very straight but I think to a degree that could be fixed by chicanes and deviating the track around some of the buildings it runs next to. The pit lane is also far to short and it would probably be better placed next to the mall infield but the idea of having it actually in the palace grounds has such an apeal. I also think going through the round thing out side the palace rather than around would be more entertaining but I can't workout if it's big enough.

If there really was to be a London GP I definitly think this area would be the best place to do it as large parts of it can be closed easilly, especially if you stay in and around the park(s).

Reminds me of the London and Madrid circuits in GT5, I shall have to post a few I thought of (or maybe stick them all together!)

Pits down in the Grass market.

nice, though I would have gone up to duke street and passed my old flat up at Strathclyde, the hill were JBC sits would make a good grandstand.

Here's one closer to home for me, far to narrow and bumpy for F1 might work for bikes and is great fun to drive.
