Hillclimb video

This is one of the best I have watched. Very expensive. I hope it was not all on the same day.Hillclimb

Nice vid but you've got to wonder about the drivers....

It seems to me that most of them have an inappropriate disposable income to talent ratio.

And some of them a very flat learning curve. Previously crashed, very expensive cars reappearing later in the video, all gaffer taped back together to have another go.

Better to see that though, than beautiful race cars just crawling along.....

Highly entertaining.
Thanks Dusty.
It certainly proves at least two things: 1. Some folk have more money than sense.
2. You can't defy the laws of physics (particularly, angular momentum).

Not that I could do any better, but it seemed like a lot of those crashes involved locked wheels. Presumably they could have been avoided, or at least lessened the impact, if they had kept the wheels turning.

Some beautiful sounding engines even in the golfs. Love the lancia about sixth car in. Definitely amateur night for many of the drivers. Don't lock the wheels and remember to steer! There is another vid from the same venue featuring many of the same cars driven a little better.
