2008 Vectra 1.9 TD Design, service light

Is there a DIY method of resetting the service light on the 2008 Vectra?

Son in Law wants to start doing his own servicing, with some help, he'll be keeping the car till its worthless so a service history isn't important.

Cheers.

Pete.

There is yes. Like most cars, it is a certain sequence of turning on the ignition then off depress the clutch, then clutch and brake ignition and a whole load of other stuff.

Every time i have been to Ford and they reset mine I have tried to watch what they do and the sequence they do it but A) Can never see what they do, coz they do it too fast and B) the bits i do see, i cant remember the sequence.

So yes you can do it, but not sure how....

Sorry
