TR Lane Mono 7
I was looking at some bits for an MX5 idea I currently have in mind and came across this - I've never seen it before and thought I'd post
it here out of interest.
Might be a little heavy being a steel monocoque, but an interesting prospect all the same (maybe...)

Im sorry, but that's quite negative, cant we applaud innovation and maybe find out more instead of appearing automatically derogatory. 
It might suit some people's criteria, that is what being individual is all about.
Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to
blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!

Please don't talk rubbish. The chassis design is very similar to the early monocoque Robin Hoods so where is the innovation? There are plenty
of people that like the old RH's so how am I being derogatory?

I think if you take the time to look at the specs you will see many differences.
And the old adage stands "if you have nothing good to say, say nothing"
But it would appear the only point of view you will accept as relevant and of value is your own, so there is no point in adding anything further.

I agree.
It's not a new innovation, and having many 'differences' does not change the fact.
It's the same principle as the RH, but in mild steel with a support frame, and uses a modern donor and it's subframes to add rigidity.
Personally, I think that for a Se7en type chassis, the space frame is the only way to go. But I know that folding a sheet of metal is a lot cheaper
than welding a good frame together, which was RH's intention with their model.
AND, I drive a RH.
