Extended Driving Hand Gestures?

So we are all farmiliar with the standard hand gestures used whilst diving these days - usually associated with indicating to BMW and Audi drivers that their manouvers are somewhat less than optimal for the surrounding traffic...

e.g. - You're a c*ck and You're a w@@ker!!!

But it struck me the other day that with plod resting in their four wheel ANPR mounts, that there are few people taking any notice of the condition of their cars, so I was wondering if the standard hand gestures could be extended somehow to be even more useful, and then could be used for other marques driver's too.

i.e. you get cut up by a car with a light out and you could give a helpful sign which indicates -

You're a w@@ker AND you have a light out!!!
or
You're a c*ck AND you have left your foglights on!!!

Any more ideas?

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Personally when overtaking sometimes my car 'accidentally' backfires a flame at their open window from my side exhaust. This once happened to me and I couldn't hear out of one ear for the best part of a day.

Just a wee note of caution here.....I once heard a story regarding street gangs in London (admittedly, it was nearly 10 years ago).

It was a warning issued by the metropolitan police, it seems that as an 'initiation ritual' into the gang, the aspiring member had to drive around with his lights off, and, when the first motorist flashed their lights to point this out, the guy (or gal) had to chase the hapless good samaritan, and SHOOT at them.

I kid you not. Beware.

You mean I've been killing people for nothing

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Never mind hand gestures, you could text, email, send them a letter and paint it on the side of their house but some people will still ignore it

I have, on more than one occassion, jumped out at traffic lights to inform the driver in front that one or more brakelights were out. I really wish there was a recognised signal to let people know that, with it being the ones most people miss! I once had someone do the same for me - both lights out, yet they'd been working the night before, as my girlfriend had followed me all the way home and as well as that, whenever I reversed onto the drive, the brakelights illuminated the wooden gates at the side of the house when I stopped. I can only assume that it was a voltage spike taking out both at once.
