B&Q Rant, then Ebay Rant, then a plea for help

Pulling out of a parking bay at B&Q I came to a grinding, crunching stop. Why do they put 2 ft high steel bollards in the middle of the car park? they are completely invisible from the driving seat. My two near side doors on my Discovery were mangled.... B&Q Rant over.

I found on eBay a guy breaking a fire damaged disco the same year and colour as mine. I bagged both doors for £35. They were in Derbyshire, 200 miles away. This was not a problem as I had to go to the north of Brum to collect a trailer so it was really only a trip of any extra 60 miles. I emailed to fix a collection date, no reply! I emailed again, and again. Finally two weeks after the auction ended he replied saying I can collect 'anytime'. I replied saying it would be this week, he answered 'No problem'. On Wednesday morning I emailed saying I would collect today, Thursday. I also left a voicemail message on his mobile. I also arranged to collect the trailer.

I was half way to Derbyshire when I got a message from him saying I couldn't collect and that he needed two days notice. Why the F@%$K didn't he say so when I asked him! I had asked him three times for a convenient collection day and he just said 'anytime' and no mention of needing two days notice. I now am faced with making a second 400 mile trip up country, another lost day and another £100 in diesel.... eBay Rant over.

Now comes the plea for help. Is anyone travelling from Alfreton or Derby way down south to Essex or Suffolk and could fit in two Discovery doors? there is a reward waiting.

wait til u get there and then only give him part of the cash, tell him why and then leave. simples............

if he gets arsey, introduce him to the "hand hammers"

time wasting fukwit!

or look for parts elsewhere and avoid the grief altogether.
best of luck whatever you do

Time for a change!
