On this subject, what is the best thing i can do with the full tank on my 7?
I filled it up last week, as we were going to exeter show in, it, but due to a fuel leak (now fixed)
we went in my diesel mondeo
So do i leave the fuel in the 7 till next year, or stick it in sealed containers, and put it in the shed?
BTW, the car is sorned as off sunday night, and im on nights now so the car will not be used

I just leave mine full over the winter. Have not had issues in 7 years of ownership.... Mine is fuel injected though so poor atomization might be less
of a problem come springtime compared to carb'd cars.

I have been looking at the problem of fuel degradtion, and its impact on the flexible hoses, it seems with increased ethanol content, as the fuel
degrades, it can cause deterioration of the flexible hoses.
It isn't a problem for me this year, my car is empty, but for future layoffs I was looking for additives to stop the fuel going off, I'm
just watching the market at the moment.
