which 7 for a good handling track or road car

which 7 type car would you guys say is a contender for best handling/corner speeds on track days? excluding the caterhams and westys due to cost.
do the higher powered and heavier cec's struggle in the bends and under braking or do they still carry similar corner speeds?
or would a lighter but less powerful engine be better fun on track? eg bec or smaller cec like 4 age?
would be interesting to hear from track day enthusiasts who have had many different 7's and been on track with other 7 type cars! cheers

bike engine, proper wishbone suspension front, any rear set up but not using the sierra subframe, properly measured geometry and corner weighted, and you're good to go.
