How to get a knackered car from Manchester to Aberdeen
I Need suggestions on how to get a Mazda 5 from Manchester to Aberdeen from in about 10 days time. we leave on holiday today and car was towed to
friends house last night. All engine lights are on and no power from turbo.. Only have green flag recovery 10 miles so cost would be 1200 quid for the
four hundred miles
Scot's do it better in Kilts.

A bloke on Scottish Mud forum is doing it- here's his details:
"Call me with details, I've got the proper trailer license.
Non-runners no problem as the trailer had electric winch.
can take Lwb vans and 3500kgs

might be of some help.

How long do you have to wait if you get a breakdown policy with full recovery? You can buy one for about £50
just a (slightly) naughty thought.

24 hours.
I once broke down in a company pool car and found out that they'd remembered to renew on all the personal company cars, but not the pool ones. I
had managed to get to the services and grabbed an RAC guy that was selling memberships. He let me join there and then and upgraded for an extra 30
quid to full recovery and home start cover commencing immediately. One of their patrols arrived to take a look about 20 mins later. Worked well for
me, as I had the full package for 12 months and all at the company's expense.
