Carb to Inlet manifold Hose

Can anybody advise on what size and where to buy silicone hose to join my bike carbs to the inlet manifold. Thank you.

depends what carbs really. they come in different sizes.
if you can get the original rubbers from your carbs then thats a bonus, if not, silcone works. some people use it for years with no problems, some say it perishes with the petrol.

as for where, check silicone hose world (i think) on ebay
or search for venair. good stuff, and much cheaper than samco and the like

Ok thanks for the reply. The carbs are from an R1. I thought i might be able to get a measurement on here without taking them off. The ones i have at the moment don't appear to be silicone, and don't look that nice, hence the reason to change them for something more decorative.

hi i have some silicone hose in red i bought a 1 mitre for my r1 bike carbs but did not need it all i have over half left
its 48mm cost me £25 you can have the rest for £10 if you want it

Ive been a lasy git and asked before i checked. Just dropped the carbs off and found that the ID is 45mm. Also, would prefer black or even better, orange. So thank you for your offer, but will have to decline that one.
