I've got £5k, what interesting car do you want to sell me? :)

Got upto £5k in cash ready to buy a car. Would quite like a TVR everything from an M, S or Chimaera would all be considered.

Also like a race style car, an old mini or the like as long as its not an old rally X or Autograss car so reasonable shape.

Would also consider a project as long as its not need an IVA at the end.

Would also consider a tasteful classic hot hatch, 205 Mi16 conversions and the like.

This lsit is not extensive, let me know of anything that is 'interesting'

So, what have you got???

if you like your classic TVR M then I know Tegwin had one for sale just over the £5k mark...

Linky

he has restored it to what looks like a great standard.

just realised that link says £6500 but this link does have it at a lower price...

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

Its a registered and finished "AGT Sports" which became the Avelle GTA.

It had a 2.2 renault engine and transaxle, but i got so fed up tring to get parts, i ripped it out and bought a 2.9 cosworth that im trying to fit at the moment, so it has no engine installed, but is all there with a spare transmission as well.

Reason for considering selling, is i had some news last week that might mean i may be out of work very soon but will have to wait on that.

I dont know what i would want for it to be honest, as its just a consideration at the moment.

Probably not much help, but look at my archive for some of the pictures, and that will give you an idea of what it is.

Tegwin, I am still in love with your car. Where are you seeing 5k tvr's? Because I'm not! I would consider importing one to Canada if I can be sure to be able to put it on the road with RHD. The laws are changing around here, due to muppets and their JDM rockets they crash all the time: 3 of them for my next door neighbour (in 2 years).
