Are 2nd hand prefab garages worth anything?
I have a pre-fab concrete single garage which I'm looking to take down btu just wondered if anyone had ever sold one and whether it was worth
bothering or not?
Following the recent sale of my Indy I'm going to be buying a Landy Defender shortly which will be too big for the garage so looking to make it
into a hard standing for now and then maybe rebuild bigger at a later date.

unless it has any asbestos in/on it.......
In which case you have a duty to remove it safely.
How big is it? I may be interested. I'm planning on building a new workshop in the garden but a sectional garage may save some time!

I used to have one, but it my local paper, got £200 for it, and stated new owner had to dismantle and move it within a week.
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Cheers fellas, I'll measure it later but the it's just about big enough to get an indy in with maybe 18 inches either side and a two foot
at either end.

Can't you extend it and make it big enough for the Landy? You can never have too much garage space. Must be a way Shirley.

My son was asked to dismantle one for an old guy not too long ago, old fella wanted it binned, son wouldnt let him.
Son sold it on Ebay for £120, on his behalf.

Potentially, I had thought about just buying two panels and widening it a bit but it's more the height that's an issue. Whatever I end up
with will be mainly off road use so likely to have a lift and big wheels/tyres and maybe even roof rack etc

widthwise you may be ok, Series and Defender aren't the widest of cars but height is an issue - can you not must modify the door opening or is
your garage too low?
I have the same with mine - and should get round to selling the up-and-over seel garage door as without that I may be able to get my LR lwt in.
Another option is to have another set of wheels with tiny tyres but that would be one hell of a palava having to swap over wheels.

yeah the garage roof is only 6 inches or so higher than the door and TBH if it was in there I'm pretty sure I'd never get out again, it
was bad enough with the Indy!!
