ABS Removal

I have a fiesta track car currently fitted with ABS/Traction Control and 2 port master cylinder.
I have disabled the ABS sensor as it functioned as the stability control and the car was awful to drive around the track with the system applying and releasing braking effort unexpectedly.
I want to remove the entire ABS system and upgrade the existing brake lines to braided.
I have two main choices:

1. Use existing 2port master cylinder use one port for fronts and one port for rears with proportioning valve fitted to achieve a good balance

2. Fit non-abs master cylinder and standard proportioning valves

I am thinking #1 as it gives me an adjustable setup.

Does anyone have opinions, this will be a track-only car so no MOT issues.

Also, does anyone know the master cylinder bore size on a mk5 fiesta fitted with ABS?

Thanks.

I'm in a similar position with a Clio - if you're going to run new lines etc., I'd be tempted to fit a proper balance bar pedal box although this may push the cost up a bit. But it would give you full adjustment and separate master cylinders for front and back.

Regards

On a short wheel base fwd hatchback the rear brakes make near sweet contribution to braking.
Changing the brake hoses to braided will make zero difference.

If your Fiesta is an RHD with the master cylinder mounted on the left then the torsion shaft that connects the pedal to the servo and the rigidity is the biggest cause of spongeyness and lack of feel in Fiesta brakes.

A a tandem mastercylinder and simple pressure limiting valve in the rear line is probably all that is required but because of but because of the cross shaft problem it would probably be better to go for a dual master cylinder and balance bar set up.
