Anyone imported a car from the US?

Has anyone ever imported a car from the USA? I know there are several companies that offer pretty reasonably shipping packages for example:

www.shipmycar.co.uk

But anyone have any experience of doing it?

Interesting,

Me and my brother have considered this for a while...

We were going to start bringing Harley choppers in from Texas, but only ever talked about it. Have you got a price from shipmycar ? what was it...

My brother has 3 cars and 3 bikes to move to the UK/Spain

About £1500 just to ship it including insurance, transport to port in the US, loading, strapping, unloading and handling charges. Then theres import duty and VAT on top dependant on the value of the car.

Thats quite good, less than I expected.

The brother has just quit his fancy job in Houston for a fancy one in Mexico, so his flash geezer Bentley is to be sold, but his E Type, Jeep + 2 Harleys ( I notice you do Harleys) and Kwak need moving.

Your chop is nice, heres his...

Ive asked him what pricing he has done his side of the pond, if theres anything I will let you know who it is.

That's a really nice E Type - isn't it so much better without a front numberplate?
