OT - Smashed side window on the tin-top :(
I got in the car this morrning to go to work and found one of my side windows was smashed
nothing seems to be missing at the moment so I'm suspecting the kids up the road with football or something like it (although no-one has admited
anything yet....)
anyway its the rear passenger side one on a Mk1 5dr focus, anyone know what that would cost for a new one ?
my excess is £60 now and I've seen s/h glass on ebay for £20 (and complete doors for £50) which is tempting....

definitely not worth claiming on insurance if you can get one for £20 - don't even mention it to the insurance company otherwise it will count
as an accident against your record.
"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

Is it the "wind-y down window" or the quarterlight?
I think the quarterlight one would be £20 ish new but the larger one could sting
